Summary:

As a Digital Installation Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment, installation, and maintenance of Direct View LED displays and control systems. Your exceptional time management, analytical, and technical skills will be instrumental in managing projects, meeting customer expectations, and providing expert support.

 The primary responsibilities and duties include; but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while interacting with clients. Keep clients informed about project progress and address their concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Efficiently manage on-site tasks, personnel, and resources to ensure the successful completion of projects within established timeframes.
  • Properly install and configure MRI TruView display systems, ensure their functionality and quality.
  • Responsible for system installations, service visits, and technical support as needed.
  • Configure and troubleshoot NovaStar control systems to guarantee the seamless operation of LED displays.
  • Learn and update as needed in our ERP system.
  • Identify areas for product and process improvement and communicate these accordingly.
  • Interact and support a broad spectrum of personnel internal and external to the C
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  • Participate and comply with all health and safety processes and initiatives to ensure that Media Resources remains a safe workplace.
  • Commissioning of new LED Signs: On-Site locations across the USA.
  • Other additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications:

 Academic Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is an asset.

 Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of digital LED displays and control systems.
  • Work experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset.

Specific Competencies:

  • Excellent time-management skill.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and solving technical challenges and issues as they arise during installations and maintenance.
  • Ability to create, analyze, and present project documentation and reports.
  • Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and implementing them in the field.
  • Knowledge of electrical and data circuitry, including troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Many of the troubleshooting and problem-solving requirements of this job demand a one-off inventive approach through continued education of these types of systems and technology or through extensive years of skill development in the field.
