It has been a very busy week for the employees and partners of Media Resources, let’s recap all that’s been going on.

 

1 – Cycling Across Canada for Cancer Awareness and Charity

One of the 4 partners of Media Resources and his daughter returned this week from their cross Canada cycling tour with the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. They rode in teams all the way from the west coast to the east coast and they raised literally thousands of dollars in the process. You can read all about their experience on their blog at the link below, Media Resources is a proud sponsor of the event and we could not be more proud of Jeff and Brooklyn for all that they do!

2 – Media Resources Attending Trade Shows

We attended two major trade shows, one being Sign Expo Canada in Mississauga and the second being the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
 
At Sign Expo Canada our massive 20’x40′ booth won the best booth award and we are extremely happy for that recognition. This booth had 3D elements, a large printed floor that looked like the surface of the moon and multiple LED screens in various pixel pitches, the largest at 10’x20′ which was the talk of the show.  The booth was a great representation of the quality of our product offerings from highest quality LED screens to crystal clear print in large and small format and custom 3D fabrication.
 
In Las Vegas we showed our products and capabilities to owners and executives of casinos all across North America, with our extensive experience and background working with the Fallsview Casino and Seneca Casino we were very happy to be so well received at the Gaming expo
 
Thanks to everyone who came by the booths and spoke with our Sales team and Project Managers.

3 – Sign Installations, All Day, Every Day!

This week our sign installation teams were as busy as ever with over 40 sign installations in the schedule!  One of those jobs was a beautiful 20 foot tall 3.9mm LED display in Canada’s 4th largest mall – the Yorkdale Mall in Toronto, Ontario

4 – Work Hard and Play Hard

Finally, after a long and busy week of working hard – tonight we will play hard!
 
Media Resources was very lucky months ago to be given the task of building a new scoreboard for the Oshawa Generals in the GM Centre arena in Oshawa, Ontario.  Tonight is the Home Opener for the Oshawa Generals and the official unveiling of the new state of the art digital scoreboard, so tonight we’re travelling in style to the Shwa’ in an extended bus limo to catch the game in a luxury box.  We’ve invited everyone who worked on the project to see the end result of weeks and weeks of hard work and long days, we can’t wait to see it!
