CNC Router Table Operator
Position Details:
- Permanent
- On-Site (No Remote Work Eligibility)
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am-5:30 pm (Must be flexible to work extra hours when needed(overtime))

About This Opportunity
As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a CNC Router Table Operator at our Oakville facility. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment reporting to a member of the management committee.
The primary responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Follow and understand safety procedures and company policies including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Responsible for the preparation and operation of the CNC router table for production requirements
- Read and interpret production drawings
- Prepare and load raw materials (typically sheet aluminum) onto the router table for processing
- Ability to load and manipulate .dxf file formats using AutoCAD and router software
- Responsible for optimizing parts layout to maximize yield for a given sheet size and part flat pattern
- Perform initial tooling set-up and changeovers
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
- Accountable for the deburring of routed components
- Organize finished goods by grouping and tagging parts by work order number
- Responsible for preventive maintenance activities on equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the router
- Ability to keep a clean, organized, and safe work area always
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC operator with a minimum 3 years of working experience in metalwork, metal fitting, and/or machine operation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings of metalwork mechanical assemblies
- Must be flexible to work extra hours when needed (overtime)
- Computer savvy with a basic understanding of g-code and CAD/CAM applications
- Experience using basic hand and power tools including drills, drill press, impact driver, glue gun, and tape measure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must have a dedicated form of transportation
- Building, construction, or sign industry experience preferred
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Proven experience as a CNC operator with a minimum 3 years of working experience in metalwork, metal fitting, and/or machine operation
